The Bible presents a multi-generational vision for women's ministry. Older women are to encourage and teach younger women to serve Christ in daily life (Titus 2:3-5).
The women of our church seek to support each other as we pursue a deeper relationship with God. As we grow in Christian maturity, we are better able to represent Jesus to others. We enjoy each other’s company, and we love to welcome women who are new to our church. We hope we will get to know you soon.
Events
Each year the Women's Ministry Team chooses a theme to guide our events and encourage spiritual growth in a particular area. Our events include baby and bridal showers, cooking demonstrations, coffee nights, local outings, and an annual Christmas event.
Women in our church also enjoy attending our presbytery’s annual Women’s Retreat.
Women's Bible Study
During the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, women are invited to a weekly Bible study on Thursday evenings on Zoom. Recent studies have covered Hebrews, Revelation, and Acts.
Summer Reading and Park Days
During the summer months, women are invited to read a book together along with a portion of Scripture. This provides opportunities for shared discussion and reflection.
Also during the summer, moms and other women are invited to spend one morning per week at the park. While the kids play, the adults can enjoy some fellowship together.
Graceful Girls
Girls aged 10-16 are invited to monthly activities led by women in the church. These are great opportunities to build friendships and try something new. These activities are usually on the third Sunday of each month after our monthly fellowship lunch.
