Sailing to Chayah is a new book for young readers. The goal of the book is to teach theology through story. The author, Michael Grasso, captures the biblical message in a captivating, personal, and memorable way.
We have the special opportunity to meet Michael, and enjoy an author’s reading of his new book. This will happen on Friday, October 2, at 7pm, at the church. You’re invited!
You do not need to register or RSVP. Just come along, and please invite your friends and anyone who may be interested.
Books will be available for purchase, and for signing by the author.
Here’s a glimpse of the book:

“It seemed that a ray of light had broken through the clouds in the middle of a storm at sea. A wave of comfort swept over him. He felt like the crushing weight had been lifted from his shoulders. God would forgive him. He understood. He knew it to be true.”
Far to the west lies the land of Chayah, a land of hope for all who are willing to make the desperate journey across the sea. Nathan Ashir and his family, however, had no thought of leaving their home. They had everything they needed. His family was the most powerful family in all Beth Aven until he lost everything. As his family is brought lower and lower, they must learn to place their trust in the one who is sovereign over all.
